Gas Trading Through Exchange
With an objective to promote uninterrupted and adequate supply of petroleum products and natural gas in all parts of the country, The Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB) Act 2006 recognized to promote competitive market for transportation, distribution and marketing.
Supporting Government’s policy target to increase the share of natural gas in India’s energy basket from current 6.5% to 15% by 2030, MPL has lit the way by becoming First Trading and Clearing Member of newly formed Indian Gas Exchange. MPL also introduced the first gas consumer on the Gas Trading Platform and have most number of clients who are actively trading gas with us.
MPL became the first company to register 200+ clients on the IGX platform and achieved trading volume of 41.05 Million MMBTUs till date.
